At Tsar Carpets, HBF choose key select rugs from our collection to revamp their New York showroom, designed to complement their high-end fabric displays. Each rug was thoughtfully chosen to reflect their brand’s connection to innovative design.
At Tsar Carpets, our mission is to create custom, hand-crafted rugs that elevate spaces and enrich the lives of those who experience them. Recently, we had the privilege of making a selection of luxury rugs for HBF’s New York showroom. Each piece was curated to align with their high-end fabric displays while staying true to their brand’s core values of design and exceptional craftsmanship.
The first rug selected for the showroom was our ‘Origin’ design, a true embodiment of balance and warmth. With its multi-level pile heights and organic forms, it offers a unique perspective reminiscent of looking down upon delicately stacked stones. The natural tones and grounding aesthetic making this rug a perfect match for their space.
Next, was our ‘Mai’ rug, which explores contemporary design with a focus on layering and duality. Inspired by the textures of concrete pathways and the wild, unrestricted nature observed during walks in lockdown, this rug brings a subtle urban edge to the collection. Its tencel loop lines mimic the look of traditional metal embroidery, creating a rich, tactile experience that complements HBF’s innovative approach to material and design.
Last to be included the ‘Winter’ rug from our Passage collection, created in collaboration with Brooke Aitken Design. This piece offers a minimalist yet powerful interpretation of the winter season, incorporating natural fibers and a wholesome, understated aesthetic. Its soft, neutral palette adds a calming touch to the showroom, perfectly aligning with HBF’s vision of timeless, nature-driven design.
Working with HBF’s, Tsar Carpets are proud to have crafted these bespoke rugs that not only enhance their New York showroom but also embody the texture, innovation, and intentionality that define both of our brands. These rugs are more than decorative pieces; they are the result of thoughtful craftsmanship and a shared commitment to elevating the experience of interior design.
